Every Birthday Steak voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. We find this removes all pressure from the recipient and allows them to choose exactly the right moment.

Absolutely. Despite the name, our vouchers cover everything on the menu. Drinks, starters, puddings, the full works. The only requirement is that it's used at the designated venue.

The recipient simply pays the difference themselves on the night. The voucher covers up to its stated value, and any remaining balance is settled directly with the venue.

Yes — during the purchase flow, you'll enter the recipient's email address. The voucher is delivered directly to them, with your personal message included. You can also schedule the delivery for a specific date and time.

Select the "Send to myself" delivery option and the voucher will come to your email. You can then print it, forward it, or present it however you choose.

The recipient shows their voucher code (on their phone or printed) to the venue staff at the end of their meal. The staff log into our secure partner portal and mark it as redeemed. Simple and fraud-proof.

We currently have six venues across South Yorkshire and North Nottinghamshire: The Crown & Anchor in Worksop, The Red Lion in Retford, The Black Bull in Sheffield, The White Hart in Doncaster, The Fox & Hound in Rotherham, and The Oak Room in Chesterfield.

Yes. When you begin the purchase flow, you can choose the occasion type. This personalises the voucher and adds a relevant label, though the voucher itself works the same way regardless of occasion.

Yes. All payments are processed by Stripe, one of the world's most trusted payment providers. We never store your card details.

Due to the digital nature of the product, vouchers are non-refundable once delivered. If a voucher hasn't been delivered yet, please contact us as soon as possible.
